The playing rules of Crash Team Racing
Crash Team Racing is an interesting racing game featuring many game modes. Drive your kart to go as fast as possible to complete three laps first.
This game was published by Activision and developed by Beenox. Like Shell Shockers, this game also offers five game modes. Here is the list of game modes in this game
- Adventure: In this mode, you will go around the island to join different kart races. In each race, you will encounter the other 7 racers. Your objective is to complete three laps first to get the first rank. Note that there are many wooden boxes that contain many power-ups. Crash into them to destroy them and collect power-ups. Besides, you can go through speed boosters to raise your speed.
- Time Trial: In this mode, you will have no rival. Instead, you must drive your kart to complete three laps in the shortest time.
- Arcade: In this mode, you can join two types of races which are Single and Cup. If you want to practice your racing skills, choose the Single button. If you choose the Cup button, you need to join four kart racing leagues. In each league, you need to win four races to get a cup. Try to earn four cups and invite your friends to join these kart racing leagues with you.
- Us: This mode is designed for two players, so invite your friends to play this mode with you.
- Battle: This mode offers five maps. Choose one of them and invite your friend to join the battle now. In this battle, you and your friend will drive your kart to go around the arena to collect weapons. Then, use these weapons to kill each other. The one who can stay alive will become the winner.
How to control
Hold an X key to go forward.
Hold a down arrow key to go backward.
Press the left-right arrow key to move to the left or right.
Press a Z or X key to choose.
Press a Z key to use the weapon.
Note: If you play the two-player mode, you need to set up the controls of the second player before playing.
